Metal Fabricator / Assembler

Is assembling your thing? Are you extremely precise and do you have a strong sense of responsibility? Then Northsea B.V., located in Oss, has an exciting job opportunity for you as a Fabricator / Assembler.

As a fabricator/assembler, you will work on assembling stainless steel (possibly in combination with glass, wood, carbon, and/or plastics) for luxury yachts. Examples include: exterior furniture and lighting, railings, windbreakers, sun awnings, swimming pools, stairs, and various other products that are exposed to saltwater and/or high temperatures.

What will you do as a Fabricator / Assembler?

The great advantage is that your colleagues in work preparation will pre-process as much as possible using CNC. This offers advantages in terms of dimensions and also makes your work more efficient.

• Assemble stainless steel products based on technical drawings.
• Sanding and polishing stainless steel products.
• Drilling, tapping, countersinking, gluing, and TIG welding.
• Checking the quality and dimensions of your own work.
• About twice a month, you will perform installations on-site; occasionally abroad, always in consultation.

What do you bring?

• A completed technical education.
• Several years of relevant work experience as a fabricator, assembler, or TIG welder.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• In possession of a VCA certificate or willing to obtain it shortly.
• You are precise, customer-friendly, service-oriented, technical, motivated, presentable, and a team player, just like all your colleagues at Northsea B.V.
• Good communication skills in Dutch, both spoken and written.

What does Northsea B.V. offer you?

• A full-time position of 40 hours per week, with direct employment at Northsea B.V. Part-time (minimum 24 hours) is also possible.
• Salary between €3,200 – €4,000 gross per month (based on 40 hours), depending on knowledge and skills.
• Any overtime will be paid.
• Metalworking Collective Labor Agreement, pension, and 25 vacation days + 13 additional days (ATV) with a full-time contract.
